The specially formulated gel solution contains Hamamelis (also known as witch hazel) and Aloe Vera extract. Using it gives to a strong antibacterial and astringent solution for tattooing. The semi-gel product allows you to have an extended period of time for colouring and shading as the ink will stay in the tip for longer.
