These ring closing pliers are ideal for tension/pressure-based piercing rings, such as ball closure rings and segment rings. Not only are these pliers good for fitting rings, you can use them on rings which have been over-stretched - simply remove the ball/segment, squeeze the ring very gently to decrease the gap between the two ends of the ring, and then press the ball/segment back into place.
